Welcome

My name is Wendy Cronkrite. I am a wife, mother of two sons and a daughter, AKC and UKC Champion Poodle Breeder, professional groomer and handler of my own poodles. I have been breeding standard and miniature poodles since 1983 and have a passion for these wonderful dogs! Whether Baroque poodles are destined for the breed or performance ring, or as a pet, our poodles receive the attention to details that makes all the difference in the ring or at home.
I invite you to visit the pages of this website and see the results of my breeding program. Baroque poodles have earned breed championships, obedience and agility titles. Most of all, Baroque poodles are healthy, happy dogs. Puppies are occasionally available.
All the poodles that I use for breeding are CHIC. What is CHIC? Canine Health Information Center. This is jointly sponsored by the AKC/Canine Health Foundation and the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. The CHIC, working with PCA, Poodle Club of America, provides a resource for breeders and owners of purebred dogs to research and maintain information on the health of poodles. The CHIC program offers benefits to breeders, buyers, parent clubs and researchers. For breeders, CHIC provides a reliable source of information regarding dogs they may use in their breeding programs. For buyers, the CHIC program provides accurate information about the results of a breeder's testing. Each dog must be permanently identified in order to have test results included in CHIC. I believe this is necessary in order to produce the healthiest poodle possible.
When a Baroque poodle is placed into a new home, a multitude of information is provided which includes photos, pedigrees, title certificate copies and health testing results of the father and mother as well as feeding and care instructions. All puppies come with a health guarranty. Please visit our Puppies page for more information about Baroque poodle puppies.
